 Welcome to Hope 4 Kids Early Learning Center!

We are a warm, caring early learning community located on Cathedral Oaks Rd. We look forward to partnering with your family and creating a nurturing environment where your child can learn, grow, and thrive.

We understand that every family has different childcare needs. We offer a variety of enrollment options based on age and availability, including full-time and limited part-time schedules.

Interested in joining Hope 4 Kids? Schedule a tour to visit our Cathedral Oaks campus, meet our teachers, explore our classrooms, and learn more about current availability and tuition.

If your preferred schedule is not currently available, we encourage you to join our waitlist.

INFANT/TODDLER CLASSROOMS

Open all year

• Infants (ages birth to 12 months)
• Toddlers (ages 12 to 24 months)
• Toddlers at Hollister (ages 18 to 36 months)

 

PRESCHOOL CLASSROOMS

Open all year

• Preschool Readiness (ages 2 - 3)
• Preschool (ages 3 - 4, potty trained)
• Pre-K: Pre-Kindergarten (eligible for kindergarten this fall; Aug - June)
• TK: Transitional Kindergarten (eigible for kindergarten next fall; Aug - June)
• Summer Camp, runs June - Aug (potty trained ages 3 - kindergarten)
• After School Care (serves children enrolled in kindergarten through the school year and those needing summer care before and after the kindergarten school season). Pick up available from Foothill Elementary School.

Enrollment priority will be given to children and families in the following order:

 

1. Full time enrollment (5 full day enrollment receives priority over fewer days)
2. Siblings/foster children
3. Returning/continuing families
4. New families

Hope 4 Kids accepts children ages birth through Grade 2.  No child will be refused enrollment because of their gender, race, color, religion, national or ethnic origin, or that of their parents or guardians.

A limited number of scholarships may be available for foster children; please contact the school office for details. We accept scholarship applications for infants, toddlers, and preschool foster and fost/adopt children living in Santa Barbara County. Please contact us for information about foster child scholarships. 
 

WAITLISTS

Because we are high-quality programs, we often have several families on the Waitlist during pregnancy to ensure a space is available when they need to enroll. We highly recommend getting on the Waitlist for all families, particularly for our infant and toddler centers. Please note that submission of the Waitlist Application does not guarantee that a space will be available when a family needs to enroll. The Waitlist Application fee is non-refundable for any reason. The purpose of the Waitlist Application is for families to express their desire to enroll their child in our program and for us to keep track of a family’s priority (based on the reservation date) when an opening occurs. When a space becomes available, being on the Waitlist gives a family priority over other families who are not on the Waitlist. If a family has not toured the Program, we will move on to the next family on the list. If a family has not paid the Waitlist Application fee, the family will be removed from the Waitlist. All enrollments come directly from the Waitlist. Once on the Waitlist, we require that families check in every month to update information or to express continued interest in enrollment. Your family’s entry will be deactivated if we don’t hear from you-at minimum-every month or if you decline a space if/when offered or if you have not paid the application fee. CLICK HERE TO COMPLETE THE WAITLIST APPLICATION through Waitlist Plus.
